Kenneth J. Braithwaite

Rear Admiral Kenneth J. Braithwaite, U.S. Navy (Retired) was accredited as the U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom of Norway on February 8, 2018.  In 2011, he joined VHA/Vizient MidAtlantic and New England, LLC, a member-owned hospital group purchasing organization, after a distinguished career in the U.S. Navy.  He is a 1984 graduate of the United States Naval Academy and finished his U.S.  Navy career as Vice Chief of Information.

Ambassador Braithwaite will describe the U.S. – Norway relationship and opportunities for economic development via infrastructure challenges in both the United States and Norway.

Nuno Gil

Nuno Gil has a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California Berkeley. Nuno is a Professor of New Infrastructure Development at Manchester University, UK. Nuno's research has been predominantly informed by studying new capital intensive infrastructure development projects so-called 'megaprojects'.

Leif Delp

Leif Delp has an MSc in Structural Engineering from NTNU in Trondheim. He has over 30 years’ experience in the Oil&Gas and Energy business, with professional project manager positions working for Statkraft, Aker Engineering, Saga Petroleum, Hydro O&G, Statoil and Equinor.

Leif will present the Hywind Scotland Pilot Park Project . This is The world’s first floating offshore wind farm with a 30 MW wind turbine farm on floating structures at Buchan Deep, 25 km offshore Peterhead, Scotland

Merete Munch Lange

Merete has a major in Film, TV and Communications from the University of Copenhagen. She is a project manager and business consultant with the consultancy company Miles in Oslo. She is the Past President of PMI Norway Chapter and today EMEA region 8 Mentor in PMI.

Cathrine Holten

Cathrine Holten is head of the digitalisation department at the Brønnøysund Register Centre with responsibility for Altinn and the national work on information management. She was earlier Department Head in the Norwegian Directorate of Health. She also worked as chief architect for the Altinn II platform, and was an IT consultant at NAV and the Ministry of Modernization. She has a diverse education including computer science, business management and music.

Hans Hagby

Hans Hagby is director of building and real estate in the company ÅF Advansia. This company provides project management services to major development projects in Norway, including the new Munch museum in Oslo. Hagby is an MSc graduate in Civil Engineering and has had leadership responsibilities in major public infrastructure development projects such as hospitals, railways, airports and cultural buildings.

Maria Gil

Maria Gil is a Chartered Civil Engineer with twenty-five years of international experience, predominantly in the field of transportation and highways both in  the public and private sectors, leading delivery and client teams. Maria’s experience includes traffic and highway engineering, port master planning and infrastructure design. She has a wealth of experience in managing traffic and highways teams, and project and programme management of large transport projects.

Morten Duesund

Morten holds a Doctorate and an MBA in Program and Project management, and is certified Prince2, ITTP and MSP. Morten is employed with the company  EVRY and responsible for their public sector large projects. Morten is the current PMI Norway Chapter President.

Johan Reenskaug

Johan Reenskaug has had many Project Management roles in the oil and gas industry. His experience includes engineering, construction and completion related projects and Project Director roles responsible for project portfolios. He has a broad technical knowledge of sub-sea systems, well intervention systems, field layout, utilities, structural and and process design.

Mike Palladino

Michael Palladino is a Project Management and Agile professional with broad experience across several industries. He is the Head of the Agile Center of Excellence at Bristol-Myers Squibb Pharmaceuticals. Mike is an adjunct Professor at Villanova University, Past President of PMI-DVC and an author for Data Management University Magazine. He has presented in several countries for over 20 years.

Ingrid Dahl Hovland

Ingrid Dahl Hovland is the CEO of Nye Veier AS, the company established to build motorways with a new business model. She holds an MSc from The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). She has completed an executive management program at the Business Kolding Institute and INSEAD. Hovland has experience from the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, Veidekke ASA and as CEO of Selvaagbygg and Spenncon.

Roar Haugland

Roar Haugland is Executive Vice President at SCATEC SOLAR, responsible for Sustainability, HSSE and IT in the company. He has more than 20 years’ experience from leading positions in Business Development, Sales and Management from large multinational companies like HP and IBM. He has an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim. He joined SCATEC in 2010 in the Executive Management Team.

Erik Smith

Erik Smith is a graduate Sivilingeniør and Dr. Ing. from The Norwegian Institute of Technology (now NTNU). He has five years’ experience from civil engineering projects and more than 35 years’ experience from oil&gas, energy, aluminium and railway projects. This includes the Qatalum aluminium plant in Qatar. He is currently consulting from his own company.

Mattias Georgson Petrén

Mattias Georgson Petrén has a PhD in Accelerator Physics, has been a PMI volunteer since 2008 and was for several years president of PMI Sweden Chapter, and thereafter PMI Region Mentor in NW Europe. He is a consultant with Arkatay consulting in Malmö, Sweden. He works with Project Management training and leadership techniques.
